ASEAN Convention Against Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children

The ASEAN Convention Against Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children is a regional, legally binding agreement between the ASEAN states, i.e. Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam. It was signed in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia by the relevant heads of state on 21 November 2015 (ASEAN, 2015)
